Kemp extends gas tax break just in time for Memorial Day travelers
Originally set to expire this week, the gas tax suspension has been renewed and goes into effect at midnight Wednesday. It will remain in effect for two weeks, until 11:59 p.m. on June 2. As the US conflict with Iran continues to drive up oil prices, the tax relief equates to a discount of 33 cents per gallon of gas for drivers.
