Rutland residents help fight grass fire in Kelowna
A grass fire broke out in a Rutland neighbourhood of Kelowna on Thursday afternoon. The fire started at approximately 1 p.m. on the hillside of McCurdy Road just east of Lacombe Road. A Black Press Media reporter on scene says nearby residents were attacking the flames with buckets of water while waiting for firefighters to arrive.
