The government would like to extend the M3 metro line by two stations. However, it seems that it will not reach Káposztásmegyer for a while. This was BKK's original plan.
Due to the current vehicle fleet and control system, only the announced two-station extension can be implemented until 2030, but most of the necessary permits have already been obtained.
