Today it is a modern residential area – formerly, the "cable factory" in Vienna-Meidling housed a Nazi forced labor camp. A memorial plaque commemorating the fates of the people was unveiled on Wednesday on a wall of the former Kabel- und Drahtwerke AG (KDAG) building.
