President José Antonio Kast approved the names that will lead the Chilean navy in the coming year.
As for his operational forces, Rear Admiral Alberto Guerrero will be at the head of the National Squadron, while Rear Admiral Luis Felipe Díaz will remain commander of the Naval Aviation.For his part, IM Captain César Aguirre will assume command of the Marine Infantry, and Rear Admiral Federico Saelzer will continue as commander-in-chief of the Submarine Force.
The new structure will maintain Admiral Fernando Cabrera Salazar as commander-in-chief of the Navy. Meanwhile, Deputy Admiral César Delgado Boffil will assume as head of the General Staff.
