- The 6-foot-6 freshman averaged 21.5 points on 60% shooting with 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals early this season, and he is the nation’s top recruit and a potential top pick.
- Missing him, KU will extend Darryn Peterson’s absence to six games, with Bryson Tiller starting the last two games in what Bill Self calls KU’s best lineup.
- After the Players Era, KU won't play again until Dec. 2 vs. UConn, and Bill Self said he’s hopeful Peterson will be `running and cutting` in Las Vegas but not ready to play.
