- Wildlife agents visited the site on Saturday, deeming the situation non-urgent. Longueuil police contacted the ministry, and officials are set to return on Monday to assess the situation.
- Galahad director Chamie Cadorette warned the animal cannot survive a Quebec winter, while the Miller Zoo offered to provide a sanctuary. Nearby Highways 20 and 30 pose additional risks.
