Kandiyohi County to again declare state of emergency for flood damages

WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners is expected at next week’s regular meeting to declare a state of emergency in response to the conditions resulting from the July 27 storm system. According to the resolution included with the County Board agenda for the Aug. 19 meeting, the storm caused a significant amount of public property damage and the potential for more damage if rain continues.
