Kanawha County authorities investigate after human remains discovered in the Cabin Creek area

Cabin Creek, WV (WOAY)- The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after human remains were found in the Cabin Creek area late on Friday evening. Deputies say around 10:45 p.m., two men flagged them down near Hill Street and Canady Lane, reporting what they believed to be human remains along a dirt access road.  Deputies followed the men to the site and confirmed the remains were human and in an advanced state of decomposition.  Invest…
