The municipality of Kampen will remove the cameras installed on the IJsselkade in December to reduce nuisance at the end of this week. According to the municipality of Overijssel, the temporary camera surveillance has contributed to a sense of safety in the area along the IJssel River. The surveillance was introduced after, among other things, ships were vandalized and mooring lines were cast off.
