Texas A&M Defeated by Alabama, Ending Tide’s Two-Game Skid
Alabama released its availability report on Wednesday ahead of Saturday's game against Texas A&M, ruling out six players including star receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams. The Crimson Tide enters the SEC matchup significantly shorthanded.
Following consecutive defeats to Georgia and Tennessee, Alabama aims to recover from back-to-back losses that dropped the team to 5-2 overall. Head coach Kalen DeBoer manages these roster challenges as the program attempts to return to the win column.
Defensive back Zabien Brown, running back EJ Crowell, and center Racin Delgatty are listed as doubtful for the matchup. These absences force backups into increased roles at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Without Brown, Alabama relies on cornerbacks Carmelo O'Neal and Dijon Lee Jr. to contain the Aggies' passing attack. Trae'Shawn Brown and Daniel Hill must shoulder the rushing workload if Crowell cannot play.
Missing the playoffs remains a possibility after the team's 5-0 start shifted to 5-2. The Crimson Tide has five games remaining, including a pivotal matchup against LSU on Nov. 7.
