Juan Morales Ordúñez: National migration to Cuenca

For several decades, the migration of American and European citizens to the city of Cuenca has been a reality known to all. Most of them are retired and often live in some parts of the city and are especially related to each other. Very few socialize with the local community and, when they do, that attitude represents the exception and not the rule. Some do not speak Spanish, despite residing here for several years.
