The Marseille brand has suffered from the competition of fast fashion from Asia. The economic court has just retained the offer of the group Amoniss, which undertakes to retain 70% of the workforce.
Placed in judicial reform, the Marseille brand JOTT has found a buyer. The court has validated an offer that allows to maintain a large part of the workforce and the network of shops, in an area of ready-to-wear under pressure.
In December, the Marseilles ready-to-wear company was taken over by the Amoniss Group. The Marseilles Economic Court issued its decision this Monday.
The offer of the group Amoniss, which counts in its scarcelle the brands of Chevignon, Lee Cooper and the brand Pimkie, commits itself in particular to retain 70% of the staff and 27 stores out of 40, specified the management of JOTT in a press release.
