Taipei, Oct. 25 (CNA) Jota Food Co. Chairman Yu Kuo-chi (余國基) died of severe injuries Sunday after the car he was driving crashed through a guardrail and plunged off a bridge in Hualien County, with the cause of the accident still under investigation, local police said.
Yu Kuo-chi, chairman of Zongtai Foods, the parent company of Hualien's well-known souvenir brand "Ami Mochi," was involved in a car accident yesterday. He was rushed to the hospital but died. Police have preliminarily ruled out drunk driving and drug driving.
