Former Fresno State President Joseph Castro has passed away at the age of 58.  Castro, who also served as the California State University Chancellor, passed away in hospice care while battling cancer.  Castro was born in Hanford in 1966 and graduated from Hanford High School in 1984.  Following high school, Castro attended UC Berkeley, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and later a master’s degree in public policy in 1990. …
