Lima Airport Partners (LAP), dealer of Jorge Chávez International Airport, separated the worker reported by a passenger for allegedly transferring S/ 300 from her cell phone while reviewing her travel documents.
The user said that she handed over the equipment to verify her passport and boarding pass. When she later checked her digital wallet, she warned that an operation had been carried out towards a number linked to the employee.
LAP confirms the worker's decoupling by carrying out a transfer of S/300 from a passenger's cell phone. The company also ordered the preventive suspension of its shift partners while continuing the investigations.
According to the passenger's complaint, the worker took advantage of passport and boarding card checks to transfer the money from a digital wallet.
