Brady Felt 'Standard Wasn't Good' Despite Blowout Win of Ravens
Brady said the Bills’ offense lacked execution and details in the first half despite a 36-10 victory that moved Buffalo to 6-1.
On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills defeated the Baltimore Ravens 36-10 in Orchard Park, N.Y., improving their record to 6-1 and maintaining first place in the AFC East.
The Ravens' offense collapsed after losing quarterback Lamar Jackson to a thumb injury on the first snap and backup Tyler Huntley to a toe injury, forcing undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano into his NFL debut.
Buffalo's defense limited Baltimore to 144 yards, with head coach Joe Brady praising the unit's "style that they played" and their communication improvements following the bye week.
Despite the dominant performance, Brady criticized the offense for "execution, our details, penalties, and fumbles," noting the team "kind of lost our way" after a strong opening drive.
Coordinator Jim Leonhard cautioned on Monday that the defense must prove itself sustainable, stating, "We're not willing to sit back and say we've arrived," as the Bills prepare for Monday Night Football against the Minnesota Vikings.
