Jim Ross Hospitalized Again Due To Low Oxygen Levels
The AEW commentator recently underwent a successful brain procedure to address a shunt issue, and he said he is back in the hospital due to low oxygen.
Jim Ross announced on the 13th that he has returned to the hospital due to "low oxygen" levels, marking the 74-year-old's second hospitalization in the last week.
This admission follows a successful brain procedure on the 7th to "address an issue with my shunt," which required follow-up care after causing severe headaches.
Ross has faced numerous health battles over recent years, including falls and cancer scares involving his skin, hip, and colon; he recently noted weighing 198 lbs.
On Monday, Ross posted a photo from his hospital bed giving a thumbs up; his "Grilling JR" co-host Conrad Thompson previously confirmed the brain procedure was successful.
Ross last provided commentary for AEW at the 2026 Double or Nothing pay-per-view in May, calling the Continental Championship match between Jon Moxley and Kyle Reilly; he is undergoing testing for a kidney spot.
