The Jets’ kicking competition is set to see an important development. Cade York is being waived, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports. Nick Folk departed in free agency this spring, taking a deal with the Falcons. York signed with the Jets in March, giving him the opportunity to compete for the role of Folk’s replacement in 2026.
