Jet2 Unveils Ski Routes From Manchester Airport for 2027/28
The airline said the winter schedule responds to strong demand from Yorkshire travelers and includes weekday and weekend flights to three ski hubs.
On Thursday, Jet2 launched a 42,000-seat winter ski programme from Leeds Bradford Airport, with service beginning mid-December 2027 to major European ski destinations.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said the airline "responded by launching our ski programme for next winter" following strong demand from Yorkshire snow sports enthusiasts planning winter getaways.
Declan Maguire, aviation director at Leeds Bradford Airport, welcomed the announcement, stating it gives "our region's snow sports enthusiasts more opportunities to fly" to Europe's leading ski resorts.
Beyond Leeds Bradford, Jet2 has simultaneously expanded winter 27/28 ski offerings from Glasgow, Newcastle, and London Gatwick, providing over 80,000 seats from the latter base to Alpine resorts.
Services operate from mid-December 2027 throughout winter to five destinations; travelers receive 10kg hand baggage plus hold luggage or ski carriage allowances of up to 22kg each.
