Japanese workers’ nominal wages rose at the fastest pace in nearly three decades on the back of strong corporate earnings and a tight labour market, in data likely to keep the Bank of Japan (BOJ) on course for further monetary tightening.
The nominal salary rose 4.7% in July compared to the previous year, after an upward revision of 4% in June, according to the Ministry of Labour on Tuesday
