Number of Charging Stations Increased by a Quarter, but Stagnation Threatens
The number of public charging points for electric cars increased by a quarter last year. This was reported by the National Charging Infrastructure Agenda (NAL), a partnership of governments, grid operators and knowledge institutions for the rollout of national charging infrastructure. Despite this increase, the NAL expects stagnation in the long term, for example due to the overcrowded power grid and a shortage of installers.
