Janet was an excellent homemaker, she worked alongside her husband on the farm hauling grain and driving tractor. She was an passionate cook and loved cooking and baking for her family and friends and she enjoyed tending to her gardens and flower beds. She adored her family and especially enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.

She is survived by her daughters Julie (Don) Kramp of Rifle, Colorado, Jill Murphy of Bowling Green, Ohio and Jackie (Jonathan) Haines of Cygnet, Ohio, grandchildren Anna Kaiser, Janel Brandeberry, Erin Echelberry, Brenan Kramp, Jessica Vollmar, Tyler Smith, Rachel Murphy, Spenser Haines, Samantha Cooper and Sawyer Haines, 29 great-grandchildren, brothers Gene, Terry, Tom and Jerry and sisters Susie, Bonnie and Penny. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, son Johnnie and sister Joyce. Visitation will be held on Monday August 10, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St. Interment will follow at Portage Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
