Tesero (Italy) - Cross-country skier Kateřina Janatová shined at the start of the Olympic Games in Italy with a seventh place in the skiathlon. This was the best Czech finish among women since Eva Vrabcová-Nývltová's fifth place at the Sochi Games in 2014. Sweden's Frida Karlsson won the gold in Tesero with a commanding performance.

Cross-country skier Kateřina Janatová shined at the start of the Olympic Games in Italy with a seventh-place finish in the skiathlon. This was her best Czech finish since Eva Vrabcová-Nývltová's fifth place at the 2014 Sochi Games. Sweden's Frida Karlsson won the gold in Tesero with a commanding performance.
