Update: Marble-sized hail forecast with thunderstorms in West Central Alabama Friday, gusts may reach 40 mph
The National Weather Service issued an updated report at 8:09 p.m. on Friday for strong thunderstorms until 9:15 p.m. for Tuscaloosa, Sumter, Greene and Hale counties.Wind gusts of up to 40 mph and marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) are expected.
