Jack McGlynn replaces injured Gio Reyna on US roster for matches against Haiti
Pochettino made a second roster change after Reyna exited Strasbourg’s loss with a thigh injury, keeping the U.S. squad intact for the two-match series.
On Saturday, USMNT manager Mauricio Pochettino replaced injured midfielder Gio Reyna with 23-year-old winger Jack McGlynn for the upcoming Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals against Haiti.
Reyna suffered a thigh injury during Strasbourg's loss to Toulouse on Friday, forcing his substitution in the 70th minute moments after scoring his third goal of the season.
McGlynn has excelled for Stoke City in the EFL Championship this season, netting five goals in 11 appearances while helping the club climb the league standings.
Pochettino previously added Toulouse center back Mark McKenzie to the 25-man November squad, replacing George Campbell after the West Bromwich Albion defender sustained a groin injury on Tuesday.
The United States faces Haiti on November 14 in Miami and November 17 in Cincinnati for the Nations League quarterfinal series, determining a berth in the semifinals.
