- On Sunday, Oct. 25, Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic led the team to a 132-123 road victory over the Utah Jazz, scoring 52 points and recording 10 assists to overcome an 18-point deficit.
- Utah overwhelmed Los Angeles early, building a 47-29 first-quarter lead, but the Lakers erased the deficit by halftime behind a strong backcourt response from Doncic and Austin Reaves.
- A 27-foot 3-pointer from Doncic pushed his total to 50 points with 1:42 remaining, while Lakers guard Austin Reaves hit a 25-foot 'dagger' three with 34 seconds left to secure the win.
- Lakers center Walker Kessler received a mixed reception in his return to Salt Lake City, contributing two points and seven rebounds against his former team in the victory.
- Now 3-0, the Lakers continue their championship push with Doncic as the centerpiece, though coach JJ Redick noted the superstar is still finding his rhythm after a slow opening stretch.
