Ivory Coast: Resumed Trial of the Kafolo Jihadist Attack in 2020

In Côte d'Ivoire, the trial of the attacks on a checkpoint in Kafolo, in June 2020, resumed on Monday, 5 January. Fourteen soldiers had lost their lives there. Forty-five defendants are being prosecuted by the Anti-Terrorism Chamber for, inter alia, "terrorist acts". Among them: a merchant suspected of having assisted his son in flight and considered one of the alleged perpetrators of the attack.
