I’ve had it, so farewell (letter to the editor)

After my family and I subscribed through the generations for over 100 years, I will receive the Advance no more. So here is the last letter to the paper I will ever write.Why? Well I have written a number of cathartic letters to the paper, decrying the ridiculous machinations and transgressions of the fascist GOP, and the predilection for so many misguided citizens to follow them.

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer on Sept. 20. My biopsy was sent to London Oct. 4. As of Nov. 21, I have not received my biopsy results, including type of cancer cells and genetic makeup. This information is vital to my oncologist as they cannot formulate the drugs  needed to fight my type of cancer.
