‘It’s Really unbearable.’ Haitians in Springfield, Ohio, Are Being Summoned by ICE
The ending of Temporary Protected Status affects more than 330,000 Haitians nationwide and has Springfield employers and families preparing for possible raids.
- The Temporary Protected Status designation for Haitians ended Monday, stripping federal work authorization and deportation protection for over 300,000 individuals nationwide, including roughly 15,000 in Springfield, Ohio.
