The Court of Cassation in Rome, the highest court in Italy, has scheduled a hearing for July 1st to determine the future of the second extradition request submitted by the Brazilian government against former federal congresswoman Carla Zambelli. The case concerns a five-year prison sentence in Brazil.

In a decision that denied the extradition of Carla Zambelli, Italian court pointed out that Alexandre de Moraes violated the impartiality required of the Justice.
