Tributes Paid to Four Men Killed in Huyton Car Crash as Families Share Messages
Police are seeking witnesses as families remember the four men, including two 23-year-olds, who died when the car struck a lamp-post.
On Friday, July 24, a black Cupra Formentor left the road on Liverpool Road in Huyton, killing Jack Diggle, 23, Benjamin Dooley, 23, Andrew Roberts, 24, and Craig Shackleton-Brady, 26, at the scene.
Families of the four men released tributes through police, describing them as kind and much-loved individuals whose sudden passing left a void that can never be filled.
Relatives shared personal memories, with Jack Diggle's mother calling him "kind, quiet, thoughtful, and loving," while Andrew Roberts' family stated they are "at a complete loss for words."
Craig Shackleton-Brady's family remembered him as a devoted father to his two children, while Ben Dooley's mother, Kerry, described him as her "world" and a person with a "heart of gold."
Merseyside Police officers continue to appeal for information regarding the circumstances of the fatal crash as the community reflects on the loss of the four young men.
