Due to the continuing adverse weather conditions and storm in Istanbul, the Istanbul Governorship has taken radical measures. All educational institutions throughout the province will be closed for one day on Thursday, October 15, 2026, and some public employees have been granted administrative leave. For traffic safety, motorcycles and similar two-wheeled vehicles are prohibited from the roads.
