Israeli military says Israeli tank fire killed 5 of its troops in northern Gaza
Five Israeli soldiers were killed in a friendly fire incident in Jabalia, northern Gaza during clashes with Hamas fighters. The incident occurred when IDF tanks mistakenly fired at soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade.
The IDF is investigating the incident where troops were hit by tank fire. Media sources reported the soldiers from the 202nd Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade were killed in the attack.
The deadly incident in Jabalia, northern Gaza, occurred as IDF forces were engaged in battles against Hamas fighters in the area.
The Israeli military found the bodies of three Hamas hostages in the Gaza Strip. Among them is German-Israeli citizen Shani Louk. Her death had already been confirmed in October.
The Israeli Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, supported by several commanders, protested Wednesday against the lack of vision of his Prime Minister, while the war in Gaza is getting bogged down.
