- On Saturday, the Israeli military warned of imminent strikes on the Masnaa Crossing, citing alleged Hezbollah military use and equipment smuggling. Arabic-Language spokesman Avichay Adraee urged civilians to "evacuate immediately" from marked areas via X.
- Prior to Saturday's warning, Israel attacked a bridge in West Bekaa on Friday "to prevent the transfer of reinforcements and military equipment," then destroyed it completely. The Masnaa Crossing is the main Lebanon-Syria crossing and a vital regional trade route.
- Lebanese security forces reported "currently evacuating the crossing following the Israeli threat," as Syrian authorities temporarily suspended traffic. General Authority for Borders and Customs director Mazen Aloush asserted the crossing was "exclusively for civilian use and is not used for any military purposes."
- An 11th Israeli soldier was killed in southern Lebanon combat on Saturday, the latest casualty as the military announced strikes on "more than 140 Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure targets." The broader conflict has killed more than 1,400 people in Lebanon, including 54 medics and three Indonesian UN peacekeepers.
- Upwards of a million people have been displaced by the war, with around 20,000 remaining in Tyre despite evacuation warnings. Israeli forces destroyed 17 surveillance cameras at UNIFIL headquarters in Naqura on Saturday, while the Lebanese Italian Hospital committed to remaining open for medical care despite damage.
