After the Magistrate's Court ruled that the police unjustly arrested a protester who lit candles outside the home of the Minister of Education, and ordered the lifting of the restrictive conditions imposed on him, the police filed an appeal against the decision. One of the police's reasons: The protesters said they would continue to demonstrate there until the government falls.
