Deyang Rata Introduces 1800kW Load Bank for Data Center and Energy Storage Power Testing
The company said the unit supports commissioning and maintenance for generators, UPS systems and battery energy storage projects as demand for testing grows.
Deyang Rata Technology Co., Ltd. announced the launch of the SILV-1800L, a 1800kW AC resistive load bank designed to support commissioning and maintenance for data centers, generators, and Battery Energy Storage System projects.
Increasing global investment in AI-driven computing facilities and energy storage projects has intensified demand for high-capacity performance verification and preventive maintenance of critical electrical assets, prompting the platform's development.
The system provides 5kW load step resolution and ±3% load accuracy for measuring varying electrical loads during testing. It incorporates multiple protection functions including thermal emergency shutdown, low-airflow protection, and fan overload protection.
Operators can utilize Modbus TCP communication and remote PC-based control for centralized monitoring and data collection. "As power infrastructure becomes larger and more complex, operators need testing equipment capable of validating performance," said Gong Zhenhua of Deyang Rata Technology Co., Ltd.
Deyang Rata identified Algeria as a target market, citing ongoing infrastructure development and power system modernization projects in the region. The unit's side air-discharge configuration provides deployment flexibility in industrial environments where available space varies.
