Fisk Outlasts Pendrith on 3rd Extra Hole in the ISCO Championship
Fisk earned his second PGA Tour title and a PGA Championship berth after two-putting for par on the third playoff hole, officials said.
On Sunday, Steven Fisk outlasted 35-year-old Canadian Taylor Pendrith in an ISCO Championship playoff at Hurstbourne Country Club, securing his second PGA Tour title at 16-under 264.
Closing with a 3-under 67 in breezy conditions, Fisk matched Pendrith's 16-under total to force the playoff after 72 holes of regulation play.
Two-Putting for par on the third extra hole, Fisk defeated Pendrith after both players scrambled for pars on the first two holes of the playoff.
The victory earns the 29-year-old Fisk a spot in next year's PGA Championship, though he did not qualify for the Masters.
Ben Silverman and Aaron Wise tied for second at 15 under, while Lucas Glover, who led after the first three rounds, finished at 14 under.
