Is The Oura Ring 5 Worth Buying? Here's What's Included (And What It Costs)
The new model is 40% smaller than the Oura Ring 4 and adds support for more than 100 apps, the company said.
On May 28, 2026, Oura released the Oura Ring 5, a redesigned smart ring marketed as the company's smallest model with seamless titanium construction.
Oura developed the Ring 5 to address user demand for a thinner, more compact design, making the device 40% smaller than the Oura Ring 4.
Starting at $399, the Ring 5 offers 6-9 days of battery life and water resistance up to 328 feet; premium gold and deep rose finishes retail for $499.
Alongside the launch, Oura introduced Blood Pressure Signals and Nighttime Breathing features that will also be available on the Oura Ring Gen3 and later products.
Existing Oura users should evaluate whether the Ring 5's design improvements justify its $50 price increase, as the Oura Ring 4 remains available for $349.
