A study has revealed that excessive use of pesticides to increase crop yields is having a serious impact on the health of farmers. A study conducted by the Multidisciplinary Research Unit of KIMS, Hubballi, has revealed that traces of pesticides were detected in the blood of farmers even 15 days after spraying. It has also been revealed that they are causing fatal diseases.
