Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick ‘Hurt’ by Old Trafford Boos

Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Tottenham at Old Trafford after Dominic Solanke headed an injury-time equalizer, canceling out Bryan Mbeumo's 72-minute opener.
Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off five minutes after Mbeumo's goal for shoving Luke Shaw, leaving Tottenham with 10 men but ultimately able to salvage a point through Solanke's late header.
Manager Michael Carrick said the boos from the Old Trafford crowd "hurt a lot," while United's six points from six games marks their worst league start in 40 years.
Tottenham manager De Zerbi praised his side's character after the result, stating the team showed they are "a team" for the first time this season by finding "more courage" with 10 men.
Carrick rejected suggestions he was let down by players after Lisandro Martinez's physical duel with Solanke allowed the late goal, emphasizing his role to "help them and guide them through it.
