Iroquois elementary students visit fire department

Iroquois elementary students enjoyed a visit to the Iroquois Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday, Oct. 8, to learn all about fire safety and fire prevention! The students had a great opportunity to learn from our local firefighters, see the equipment they use and better understand the important role firefighters play in keeping our community safe.

SS Elementary Fire Department Visit

Thank You, SS VFD! A big thank you to the San Saba Volunteer Fire Department for taking the time to visit and speak with our students! Our students did a wonderful job being polite, attentive, and excited to listen, learn, and participate! We even got to teach SS VFD how to use the “T” from Capturing Kids’ Hearts! We are so thankful for our community members who take the time to invest in our students!.
