As of 1 July, the duty-free limit for parcels less than 150 euros will be abolished. At Temu, Shein or Amazon, a lump sum will then be payable per product group.
Products ordered online from outside the European Union, in parcels worth less than EUR 150, will be more expensive for Romanian consumers as from 1 July 2026, after introducing a customs duty of EUR 3 for each item in a parcel.
Since July, Brussels will apply a fee of three euros per item category on orders of less than 150 euros.
