The vice-president of the European Parliament asks Irene Montero to remove her Palestinian handkerchief

“They say that the rules require us to remove our Palestinian handkerchief. The rules also prohibit genocide and here is Europe supporting one,” said the MEP from Podemos.

“International norms also prevent genocide and Europe is supporting one,” replied the MEP from Podemos

“Take off your scarf,” the president of the European Parliament asked Irene Montero, who once again called Israel “genocidal”.

The former minister of Podemos has been forced to remove the handkerchief she was wearing in order to speak in the European Parliament
