A large number of EU countries supported Ukraine ' s request to accelerate the disbursement of a portion of the 90 billion Euro loan planned for 2026-2027.
A large number of EU member states support the acceleration of the payment of funds within the loan to Ukraine to help its war efforts, said the Irish Minister of Defence.
Kallas Supports Accelerating the Disbursement of Funds to Ukraine in the Face of Kiev's Urgent Needs
Asked about the idea of advancing part of the EU loan of EUR 90 billion to Ukraine in the face of this deficit, Kallas recalled the "firm support" of the Twenty-Seven to Kiev and indicated that 8,470 million euros have already been disbursed from that package for defence aid, and that "there will be more funds in the future".
