- Following the hangings of Mohammad-Amin Biglari, 19, Shahin Vahedparast, 30, and Amir Hossein Hatami, 18, last week, rights groups warn three other men sentenced in the same case remain at imminent risk of execution.
- IHR director Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam stated these killings are part of a "strategy of survival," urging the international community to make the regime's systematic use of capital punishment a central condition in any future negotiations.
