- Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the NCRI, called for international intervention to 'halt the wave of executions,' noting several PMOI members and political prisoners remain on death row.
- These executions are part of a broader crackdown targeting individuals accused of espionage and anti-state activities; earlier this month, four other people linked to the MEK were executed.
