A powerful explosion rocked Erbil, the capital of the autonomous Kurdistan region in Iraq, on Friday, followed by a cloud of smoke rising from a hotel in the city, the Iraqi military said.
A drone attack in Iraq reached today a military base at the airport of Baghdad which hosted an American diplomatic mission, said sources of security. "Four drones attacked" a military base located at the Iraqi capital airport, said a security officer in statements to the French news agency AFP. At least two of the drones fell into the base area, needed another officer. The United States and Israel launched a military attack on 28 February.
