Hawkeyes Are Set to Play Vanderbilt in a November Women's Basketball Game in Sioux City, Iowa
On Tuesday, the University of Iowa announced the Hawkeyes will face Vanderbilt in a neutral-site women's basketball game on Nov. 15, 2026, at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City.
Both teams earned No. 2 seeds in the most recent NCAA Tournament, with Vanderbilt holding a 4-0 all-time record against the Hawkeyes in this series.
Vanderbilt features 2026 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year Mikayla Blakes, while Iowa's roster includes All-Big Ten center Ava Heiden and transfer Dani Carnegie, who will face former teammate Mia Woolfolk.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, June 5, through TicketMaster and the Tyson Events Center, which seats roughly 10,000 fans.
The contest follows a challenging early-season slate for Iowa, which also visits 12-time national champion UConn on Nov. 8 under third-year head coach Jan Jensen.
