Iowa baseball falls to Purdue in Big Ten Tournament elimination game
Purdue scored eight unanswered runs and outhit Iowa 10-1, ending the Hawkeyes' season and sending the Boilermakers to UCLA.

Iowa scored one run in the fourth inning when Brolan Frost singled to score Miles Risley, but the Boilermakers pounded out 10 hits and eight unanswered runs.
Caleb Wulf recorded two hits for Iowa, moving into second place in program history for single-season hits with 89 this season.
Iowa head coach Rick Heller praised his players' resiliency, saying, "This was one of the best defensive teams I've ever coached," after the team recovered from early-season struggles following USC.
